Yellowmoon® Media Network limited is an entertainment and communications firm which seeks to establish a robust entertainment network to facilitate the development of budding creative talents and create a platform where people of varied creative abilities can pool their creative resources together to achieve productions of international standards in audio and visual entertainment.
Consequently, every stakeholder is empowered; members of the network earn income and develop their careers
OUR VISION
To play a strategic role in developing the music and movie industry in Nigeria, particularly, and globally, through the provision of capital, expertise and professional management.
OUR MISSION
To establish a reservoir for content development to feed the entertainment industry in Nigeria, Africa and the entire world.
OUR OBJECTIVE
To serve as an effective response to the urgent need for an industry that has the potential of creating thousands of quality jobs through the establishment of a strongly established audio-visual entertainment industry centred around music and movie production, distribution, promotion and training.
MOST ASSURED WAY TO KICK START YOUR CAREER IN THE MOVIE AND MUSIC INDUSTRY.
The road to stardom in the entertainment industry is no easy walk. For the one who wants a record deal, doing a lot of gigs and selling CDs personally may attract a recording deal from established labels. Similarly, anyone looking for an acting deal or job in any sphere of the movie industry will have to attend many auditions, talent hunt competitions and interviews. In addition, relocating to the entertainment hub, like Lagos- Nigeria, etc., to pay your dues is one of the surest routes to follow.
But let’s face it, how many people can leave behind their, jobs, homes and families to a strange land just to pursue their dream? That might look like a piece of cake but the truth is; peoples’ aspirations are seriously tested by prevailing circumstances
Yellowmoon will help you, whatever your location, to get to your career destination twice faster than the surest way mentioned above.
YELLOWMOON NOT A TALENT HUNT PROJECT
Interestingly, there are many talents -hunt competitions, which seek to exploit the creative resources of our many gifted youths. This competitions at best select an overall winner and runners-up and offers prize money or consolation items, without necessarily helping them build a career from their talents. The rest of the competitors are discarded one way or the other. Those who could not qualify for one reason or another suffer rejection and may have their creative abilities stifled forever because of the experience.
It is common knowledge that many renown musicians, actors, etc., were rejected at auditions; Sade Adu was advised to jettison singing for another career; Barry white was adjudged by the auditioning crew ‘not good enough’. Yet they went ahead to win Grammies. In fact, history is replete with great and popular artistes who suffered rejection many times at auditions.
It is for this reason that Yellowmoon ® Media Network Limited seeks to help young people develop their talents and career without putting undue pressure on them through exploitative competitions. Hence, our slogan Every Talent Counts.
PUT YOUR CAREER ON FAST FORWARD
Yellowmoon’s cardinal concern is to provide funding for productions, using the creative resources from members of the network and expertise of consultants for the network to achieve high quality productions.
Secondly, the facility we give to independent producers to embark on productions accords members of the network a variety of avenues to get engaged in productions.
Again, the industry will come through us to discover you. Record labels, movie production companies, producers come to us to find new talents to work with.
Once we get the request we notify members of what is requested. Members who think that their work match the request made, submit their materials. These materials are carefully read and /or listened to by our team of highly trained consultants. If your material is great we send them to the company(s) that made the request.
